Remember when I said I should write in here more and I don't? I'm constantly running around doing what I feel are smaller things as I find that those who seek Me, find Me. That said, every now and then, I feel I really need to let folk know some things are up. So, uh... some things are up.
I thought 2022 would see a decrease in general batshittery in the world. It has not. So, I suppose it's time to adapt. And so, I'm starting to teach again, and in a whole new way! So pull up your calendar and mark it for Sunday, November 6th, 2022 at 7 PM, for my new and improved BDSM 101: Navigating the Jungle of Power Dynamics.
I guess I could go on and on about things, but I mainly want to see some folk show up, as it's My birthday month, and it would be a swell birthday present to know I still got it.
Join Me for a comprehensive introduction to all things kinky in this BDSM 101 class! What is BDSM? Why do we do it? Where can we learn more? What the hell is a Top-leaning bondage puppy switch? Come learn how cultural depictions have colored our perception of kink, how consent and communication play an integral part of our interactions, and how BDSM can extend into aspects of life far outside of the bedroom. This class is inclusive of all relationship models, genders, and orientations!
BDSM 101 is a roughly two-hour class divided into two parts: a presentation containing the bulk of information and an open floor question-and-answer session and discussion to ensure that all participants walk out with their queries answered, while touching on particular topics that may interest them. The presentation will cover things such as:
The reasons behind BDSM practices
How media colors our view of kink and sexuality
Terminology and socializing in a kinky space
Ethical play, safeguarding, and consent models
How to explore more in public and private
This event marks the start of a new series of private, upscale classes and presentations for the discerning kinkster. Enjoy a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere as you learn about the erotic practices that folk have been exploring for over six thousand years.
No specific attire or supplies are needed for this class.

Tickets include a complimentary drink/refreshment (hard liquor is not included, nor sold). Additional drinks and snacks will be available. This is not a play party or a cruising ground, and visibly intoxicated or belligerent patrons will be asked to leave.
All attendees will also be entered in a raffle for a copy of Dossie Easton's and Jeanette Hardy's two excellent resources, "The New Bottoming Book" and "The New Bottoming Book." This event is held at a private, underground cabaret-style venue, exclusively reserved for this purpose. For the maximum privacy and comfort of attendees, the exact address of the location is revealed one week before the event, exclusively to attendees via email.

I have completely reformatted a lot of the information, added lots of interesting tidbits, and have expanded sections on consent, public behavior, and social perceptions. If you haven't, you're in for a treat! I originally taught this class a few years ago, and it was wickedly popular. I even toured it for Sex Week at Lafayette College in 2018, and was intending to make it a monthly, NOTAFLOF event before the pandemic put a dent in My plans.
